The other day, in my post on Creativity, several of you weighed in via Facebook, and 1 comment to my post itself, identifying what you felt were areas in which I was creative. I’ve also been contacted separately by two individuals, one my brother Bob who pointed out my writing. And the other was my good friend Tony from Omaha, who reminded me again, that he has been telling me for YEARS I was a good writer.
I’ve always kind of grinned at Tony’s comments. You see, I think I’m a terrible writer. Tony suggests I should try to do this professionally, write for money. I have secretly laughed at him, because, well, I think I’m a terrible writer.
But Bob says I’m a good writer, and Dan says I’m a good writer, and Tony says I’m a good writer. They all point out that THIS BLOG is my creation, ergo, I must be creative.
So. Maybe I am a fairly competent writer. Thank you guys! I really appreciate your confidence in my writing.
Definitely something to think about.
Oh, and a point of clarification. In my comments two mornings ago, I expressed surprise regarding a bluetooth headset. Just to be clear, and this is important: I knew it was a bluetooth device. My surprise was that a thing that hangs on one ear would be termed a HEADSET. This is important… I don’t want you thinking I don’t know about this magical concept called bluetooth! (Though perhaps I AM a bit curious as to WHY it’s called bluetooth. I see nothing blue on my bluetooth… and it’s not in my mouth, so………..
On September 7, Saturday, my post will be late again… probably. Scott and I are planning a hiking trip up the Tortoise… A Mountain…. No, not a Mountain. A mountain, as in the first letter of the alphabet. There’s a big A at the top. I’ll try to get good pictures, so you can see what I mean on my next post… probably Sunday morning.
Prayer Intention
Sun and moon, praise God!
All of you bright stars, praise God!
You highest heaven, praise God!
Do the same, you waters that are above the sky!
Let all of these praise the LORD’S name
because God gave the command and they were created!(Ps 148:3-5 CEB)
I continue to pray for Direction, and specifically this week for Direction in my work life.
