It rained last night! The morning air was cool when we set out at 6:15 for our morning “longwalk”. But also very humid. Today promises more rain. We’re at the tail end of monsoon season, and in fact, probably past it, but here it is!
Every day we go for several walks, the girls and I. The first walk of the day is referred to as our “longwalk”. This is the one we go to the dog green, do our duties (the dogs do… I generally abstain) then set out to circumnavigate the park. This is a mile and a half. We have several routes we can take, but the snow birds are arriving. This impacts our pattern because whereas through July & August we could walk undisturbed, now we encounter several others out walking. Most of these encounters are polite “Good mornings”, with the dogs wanting to get together to play… yes, even Nikki. But some, the bigger dogs… I can’t tell who wants to aggress… them or Ixchel! So we just nod, smile and drag our beasts onward. And today, we couldn’t walk the undeveloped part of the park due to mud!
Well, yesterday I got two thirds of the house cleaned! And so, as promised here is our home (I didn’t photograph the kitchen or the master bath.)
