Today is an Off Day. A low pressure system has swung up from the Gulf of Mexico and is dumping lots of rain on us. It rained in spurts most of the day yesterday as well as most of the night. We were awakened at 4 or so by weather alerts on our phones warning of possibly flooding.
As a result of all this, I slept late, in spite of Nikki’s urgent pleas to get up. And once we set out, we found standing water in most places I walk the girls. So, the walk was not as long as we usually take.
Arriving home, I’ve found myself not to motivated. And hence today’s post is late. My apologies to my huge 18 person fan base!
Let’s see, what is some other news? I have an interview today at 1 pm. Oddly enough it’s for a job back in Omaha, but one I can work from here on. I sure hope this works out!
And I asked a published author friend for input on something I have written, and she liked it, encouraging me to write more. I might actually post it here, as I go. We’ll see.
