Yesterday, we had the local jack of all trades in to do some work. Luis is a certified mobile home dude. He can fix, well, just about anything. The mantra here is, if you need work done, call in Luis. If he can’t fix it, he’ll refer you.
In any event, we needed to have the shower fixed in our guest bathroom. There were two temperatures… a tiny trickle of cold, or a good stream of scalding. I asked him if he’d take a look, telling him there was no rush, as long as it was done by Thanksgiving. He said “Either I do it today, or some time in early December. So yesterday it was.
Unfortunately, he had to cut a hole in the wall from the neighboring guest bedroom. We now have an access patch! A new faucet and control now grace the shower, and water works great!
Then, in the afternoon, I went over to Mudder & Pops to take a look at their computer. They keep getting pop ups about some trojan, but when they run a full scan, nothing shows up. Some company wanted to charge them over $200 to provide them support for 12 months… but they weren’t to tell anyone, because this was a special only for members… uh, yeah.
While there, we fixed a problem with her email and internet explorer. IE would crash anytime she attempted to attach a document (of any kind) to a gmail email.
Then we had a delightful dinner of taco soup, cornbread and strawberry ice cream!
Daily Gratitude
Did NOT want to get out of bed this morning. But I did. Thank you God for making me get out of bed, because if I hadn’t, I’d have missed out on that GLORIOUS sunrise this morning! Can I go back to sleep now?
