Gainfully Employed

Okay, lesson learned!  If you are planning on writing a blog every day… don’t take a break from it!  I’ve been having problems getting motivated to write again.  And I DO apologize for that.

See, there have been some changes in my life, and as a result my daily routines are a bit mucked up.  In my last blog entry, I related the events of our Thanksgiving Weekend, culminating in our 3 mile walk with the girls… okay, I didn’t mention the length of the walk.  We walked roughly half the trail.

Sunday, we attended church, then went out to brunch at IHOP with some friends.  Afterwards we came home and more or less just vegged out for the rest of the day.

And then, somehow, things changed.  I got a call offering me a job.  So, today, Wednesday, I began work at a local store in Old Mesilla.

Today, was my first day there.  Friday, Scott and his parents and I are heading out to Hobbs, NM, to watch two of Scott’s nieces perform in The Nutcracker.  Scott’s older niece, C, is dancing the lead role.

And so, friends, please do not desert me!  Give me a few more days, and I’ll see if we can’t get back into this writing stuff by early next week!
