Well, it’s official. At approximately 4:15 am on December 21, 2015, I passed the 1700 mile mark for miles walked this year. I hope to now end up around 1730 miles before the year is up. Maybe even further! We’ll see. I’ve already set my 2016 goal at 1,900 miles. I’m already feeling intimidated!
And, I think I’m going to add another fitness goal to the year. I’ve been investigating HIIT Training (for High Intensity Interval Training) – yes, I know that’s redundant.
I need to add a few more goals (not necessarily fitness related) to my expectations for 2016. I have 2 or 3 already lined up.
One goal I have in mind is a cruise. I’d very much like for Scott and I to do a Caribbean cruise in October/November time frame. I already have one planned. It would leave from Galveston, TX, and take in ports in Roatan, Belize City, & Cozumel.
Another goal is to spend a few days with each of my brothers, though ideal would be to spend those days with BOTH.
Goal three is again walking related: As soon as possible after the Bataan in March (once my feet have healed) I want to do a 3 day hike around Las Cruces… 15 miles each day!
So, that’s five goals for 2016.
There is a 6th goal. I’d like to arrive at this point in 2016 (December) more or less as sane as I am today. You may feel free to read into that what you will.
